Chaos in Midcap-Smallcap stocks, Nifty Midcap fell by 1250 points, BSE Smallcap fell by 1500 points.

Small Cap Midcap Crash: There is chaos in the Indian stock market. Midcap and smallcap stocks have fallen flat in Wednesday's trading session. Nifty Midcap index is trading down by around 1250 points or 2.60 percent. So the Nifty Smallcap index is trading down by 500 points or 3.34 percent. Since SEBI Chief's statement about bubble in midcap and smallcap stocks, the stocks of these sectors have been falling. 

Due to the tsunami of fall in the market, investors have suffered a loss of more than Rs 8 lakh crore within two hours of the market opening. The market cap of stocks listed on BSE has fallen to Rs 377.13 lakh crore which was Rs 385.57 lakh crore in the last trading session. That means a loss of Rs 8.44 lakh crore has been incurred in today's trade.
