Bank Holiday in April 2024: The month of March has come to an end and April is about to begin. In such a situation, to ensure that the customers do not face any kind of problem, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the Bank Holiday List. Many festivals are going to fall in the month of April. This includes many festivals like Eid, Gudi Padwa and Ramnavmi.
Banks will remain closed for this many days in the first month of the new financial year
The new financial year will start from 1 April 2024. According to the monthly holiday list of RBI, there will be 14 days of bank holidays in April. This also includes Saturday and Sunday holidays. Apart from this, there will be holiday in banks in many states due to festivals like Eid and Ram Navami etc. We are telling you about the bank holidays falling in April-
Banks will remain closed for so many days in April 2024
- 1 April 2024- Banks will remain closed across the country due to annual closing.
- 5 April 2024- Banks will remain closed in Telangana, Jammu and Srinagar due to Babu Jagjivan Ram birthday and Jumat Jumatul Vida.
- 7 April 2024- Banks will remain closed across the country due to Sunday.
- 9 April 2024- Due to Gudi Padwa/Ugadi Festival/Telugu New Year and first Navratri, Belapur, Bengaluru, Banks will remain closed in Chennai, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jammu, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji and Srinagar.
- 10 April 2024- There will be a holiday in banks in Kochi and Kerala due to Eid.
- 11 April 2024- Due to Eid, banks will remain closed in the entire country except Chandigarh, Gangtok, Kochi.
- 13 April 2024- Due to second Saturday, banks will remain closed in the entire country.
- 14 April 2024- There will be a holiday in banks across the country due to Sunday.
- 15 April 2024- Banks are going to remain closed in Guwahati and Shimla due to Bohag Bihu and Himachal Day.
- 17 April 2024- Due to Ram Navami, there will be a holiday in banks in Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Gangtok, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kanpur, Lucknow, Patna, Ranchi, Shimla, Mumbai and Nagpur. >20 April 2024- There will be a holiday in banks in Agartala due to Gariya Puja.
- 21 April 2024- Banks will remain closed in the entire country due to Sunday.
- 27 April 2024- Fourth There will be a holiday in banks across the country due to Saturday.
- 28 April 2024- Due to Sunday, there will be a holiday in banks across the country.

But, with changing times and new technology, there has been a lot of change in the way banks work. You can transfer money from one account to another through net banking or mobile banking sitting at home. Apart from this you can use UPI for this. You can use ATM for cash withdrawal.
