Plane Window Blows Out: 180 lives flying in the air became victims of a terrible accident. Within a few minutes of taking off from the airport, the window of the airplane burst with a bang and people had to immediately put on oxygen masks. Due to the skill and patience of the crew, the plane returned safely to the airport. This accident happened in an Alaska Airlines plane. After this accident, the company has banned all its 65 Boeing MAX 9 aircraft from flying until further orders. 

AS1282 from Portland to Ontario, CA experienced an incident this evening soon after departure. The aircraft landed safely back at Portland International Airport with 171 guests and 6 crew members. We are investigating what happened and will share more as it becomes available.

According to the information, this Alaska Airlines plane took off from Portland, Oregon on Friday. There were 174 passengers and 6 crew members on board. It was going from California to Ontario. During this time the window burst. After this it had to make an emergency landing at Portland International Airport. This plane had reached a height of about 16 thousand feet.

Approval was received from FAA only two months ago 

Boeing's 737-9 Max aircraft was used for Alaska Airlines flight number 1282. It received approval from the Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) only in November, 2023. No one got hurt in this accident.

All Boeing 737-9 aircraft grounded 

The company said that this accident happened immediately after the plane took off. But, it returned safely. Everyone aboard is safe. The plane took off at 4.52 in the evening and returned at 5.30. The company has grounded all its Boeing 737-9 aircraft until further orders.

Videos of the accident have also surfaced on social media. The passengers are wearing oxygen masks. Also everyone is sitting patiently. The hole in the plane is clearly visible in these videos.
