Global Top-100 Luxury Goods Makers: Along with Malabar Gold & Diamonds and Titan, four other Indian jewelery companies are included in the global list of world's top 100 luxury goods manufacturing. Malabar Gold is the leading domestic company in this list with 19th position. After this, Tata Group's Titan Company has got the 24th position.

Kalyan Jewelers and Joy Alukkas also included in the global luxury brand list

Kalyan Jewelers and Joy Alukkas ranked 46th and 47th respectively in the Deloitte Global Luxury Goods List 2023. The other two Indian jewelery makers included in this list are Senco Gold & Diamonds and Thangamayil Jewellery, which have been ranked 78th and 98th respectively.

Which company is at number one?

French luxury company LVMH working in different fields is at the top in this list. The world's top 100 luxury goods manufacturers achieved a turnover of $347 billion in 2023, which shows an increase of 13.4 percent on an annual basis. Only LVMH has 31 percent stake in it, which shows that its status among the total luxury brands remains intact.

The report says that the demand for luxury goods in India is expected to increase further, which will provide ample opportunities for domestic brands to emerge internationally. Deloitte said in a report released on Monday that as the domestic economy is growing and consumer preferences are evolving, the country's luxury market is witnessing significant growth, which is contributing to the global recognition of these brands.
