The US embassy has ordered diplomatic families to move out of Kiev in view of the escalating dispute between Russia and the US over the Ukraine issue and the continuing threat of Russian military action on Ukraine. The US government believes that the situation in Russia-controlled Crimea and eastern Ukraine may worsen significantly.
