T20 World Cup 2022: Shoaib Akhtar’s ‘U Turn’, says he now wants to see India-Pakistan in the final!

Meanwhile, both India and Pakistan have gone to the semi-finals. After which now there are talks that these two will face each other in the final. Former Pakistan player Shoaib Akhtar (Shoaib Akhtar) also wants to see India-Pakistan in the final and Akhtar said that India will lose in the semi-final first and return home. It seemed like it would end. At that time, Akhtar was very upset by this defeat, he targeted India and said, ‘If Pakistan is going to be out of the tournament now, India will also reach the semi-finals and return home next week.’ But now the Pakistan team has remained in the tournament and will play the semi-finals as well. So Akhtar is saying that India and Pakistan should come to the final. 

Akhtar has made this statement while speaking on his YouTube channel. He has also stated that ICC and broadcasters will benefit greatly if India and Pakistan go to the final. Also, Shoaib continued, ‘Now the whole of Pakistan feels that our players should enter the field and win. I didn’t think Pakistan would get a chance after the loss against Zimbabwe, but the Pakistan team has been revived. This is the lottery and now we want this World Cup.’

 How will India vs Pakistan final?

So India and Pakistan from Group 2 Both teams have advanced to the semi-finals. India have won 4 out of 5 matches and secured an entry into the semi-finals with a total of 8 points. On the other hand, after South Africa lost to Netherlands in the last match, Pakistan defeated Bangladesh and reached the semi-finals. Now India will play semi-final with England and Pakistan with New Zealand and both teams can win their respective matches and meet each other in the final.

How is the semi-final schedule?

First semi-final Pakistan and New Zealand will be played on November 9 at the Sydney Cricket Stadium. Immediately after that, on November 10, the match between India and England will be played at the Adelaide Oval ground in Adelaide. Both the matches will be played at 1.30 PM IST and the toss will be held half an hour before that.
