Meanwhile, the report card of the performance of the Indian team has come out, in which the player made the most of the opportunity. So, which players flopped? It has been said.

KL Rahul
India’s opener KL Rahul, who was the talk of the bowlers in the IPL, could not do anything special in the T20 World Cup. He was dismissed for four against Pakistan, nine against South Africa and just five against England.

Rohit Sharma
Indian captain Rohit Sharma struggled throughout the T20 World Cup. He could only score 116 runs in six matches in this tournament. Not only this, there is a discussion that Rohit Sharma chose the wrong leadership and playing eleven in the semi-final match against England. In this tournament, Rohit Sharma did not give India’s star and experienced spinner Yuzvendra Chahal a chance to play in the playing eleven.

Virat Kohli

He reached the mark of 239 runs in this tournament. Which includes three fifties. But, he was dismissed cheaply in the match against England.

Hardik Pandya
India’s star all-rounder Hardik Pandya played an important role in bowling as well as batting. But he failed to win the T20 World Cup for India. Hardik scored 128 runs with his bat in six matches, while bowling on Australia’s fast pitches, he also took eight wickets. Thus this World Cup turned out to be mixed for Hardik Pandya.

Dinesh Karthik
IPL, India’s experienced batsman Dinesh Karthik had made it to the Indian team. After that, he showed brilliant performance in India’s bilateral series. Due to which he was selected for the T20 World Cup. A good performance was expected from Dinesh Karti in this tournament. But he could not do anything special. He could only score 14 runs in the opening four matches. Due to which he was excluded from the matches against Zimbabwe and then against England.

Rishabh Pant
After giving Dinesh Karthik a chance in four matches, captain Rohit Sharma gave Rishabh Pant a chance against Zimbabwe. However, Pant could not seize this opportunity. He returned after scoring just 3 runs in this match. Then Rishabh himself got run out to save the wickets of Hardik Pandya in the semi-final match. Rishabh scored only 9 runs in two matches.

Ravichandran Ashwin
India’s veteran spinner R. The entire team management, including captain Rohit Sharma, had high expectations from Ashwin. However, he disappointed everyone. In six matches of the T20 World Cup 2022, Ashwin scored just 6 runs with the bat. At the same time, he took only six wickets in bowling. Ashwin could not live up to captain Rohit Sharma’s faith when India needed wickets. According to experts, Ashwin’s journey in T20 international cricket will be tough after this match.

Akshar Patel
Indian all-rounder Akshar Patel has been included in the team because of his ability to hit big shots. However, Akshar Patel’s bat looked quiet throughout this tournament. Bhuvneshwar Kumar
India’s fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who is known as the swing king, tied the hands of the opposite team’s batsman in the power play. But, in T20 cricket, you cannot put pressure on the opposition team without taking wickets. Bhuvneshwar Kumar took only four wickets in six matches in this tournament.

Mohammad Shami
India’s star bowler Jasprit Bumrah’s injury opened the door to playing XI for Mohammad Shami. But he failed to fill Jaspreet Buhra’s place. Shami could take only six wickets in six matches.

Arshdeep Singh
India’s young fast left arm bowler Arshdeep Singh performed well compared to other bowlers. But in the semi-final match, Rohit Sharma took only two overs from him.
