Russia’s official coronavirus task force recorded 1254 deaths, compared to 1251 on Thursday and 1247 on Wednesday. The task force also recorded 37,156 new cases.
In recent weeks, there was a decrease in daily new infections, but it was higher than the virus spread last time.
There has been an increase in infections amid low vaccination rates and people’s lack of precaution.
Experts say that 4,62,000 people have died due to Kovid-19 between April 2020 and September this year.
