PM Modi: What is Narendra Modi known as in China? The US report revealed

New Delhi: Although the rift in China-India relations has not widened, it is not the good relationship it has become. That line still exists on the border of Tibet. In this context, a report has been published in the US strategic affairs magazine ‘The Diplomat’. It is said there, India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi (Narendra Modi) is called ‘Modi Laoxian’ i.e. ‘Immortal Modi’ in China.

‘How is India viewed in China?’ In this report, journalist Mu Chunshan wrote that Modi is becoming increasingly popular with the Chinese. The journalist published this report by analyzing the Chinese social media Sina Weibo (Twitter used in China). He wrote there, it is like learning how Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi maintains diplomatic relations with the rest of the world.

Sina Weibo has about 582 million users. Modi is called by this name there. According to the report, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is popularly known as ‘Modi Laoxian’ in Chinese on social media. The word ‘Laoxian’ basically refers to an elderly person, who has some different powers.

The report also said that Chinese netizens feel that Modi is quite different from the rest of the country’s major leaders.
