Taliban delegation arrives in Ankara for first high-level talks with Turkey

Ankara, Oct 14 (AP) A high-level delegation of Afghanistan’s new Taliban rulers has arrived here for talks with Turkish officials. The Ministry of External Affairs gave this information on Thursday.

This will be the first meeting between the Taliban and senior Turkish government officials in the Turkish capital, Ankara, since the Taliban’s occupation of Afghanistan. A Taliban spokesman said its delegation was led by acting foreign minister Amir Khan Mutaqi.
