Patanjali’s two TV channels will be launched in Nepal on Friday, big announcement of Baba Ramdev reached Kathmandu

Yoga Guru Nepal has announced the launch of two television channels of Patanjali Ayurved Group in Nepal. Baba Ramdev arrived in Kathmandu on Thursday to review the launch of these channels and other business projects. Patanjali Yogpeeth and Nepal officials said that Ramdev has come on a three-day visit to Nepal and his colleague Acharya Balkrishna is also with him.

Channels to be launched in Nepal on Friday
Baba Ramdev will launch Aastha Nepal TV and Patanjali Nepal TV on Friday. The yoga guru will also inaugurate the Swadeshi Samridhi Card, apart from the Patanjali Seva Sadan, a residence built for the employees of Patanjali. Ramdev, meanwhile, will also visit Syangja in western Nepal to inspect a project being developed by the Patanjali Ayurved Group.

Patanjali’s coronil kit has been banned in Nepal
In June, during the second wave of Corona, Nepal banned the coronil kit of Baba Ramdev’s company Patanjali. Then the Health Department of Nepal had said that this ban would be in place until the coronil kit was registered with the department according to the rules of the Government of Nepal. Patanjali Yogpeeth in Nepal had procured the kit of Coronil from India.

Patanjali planning to develop palm oil in Northeast
Ruchi Soya, a company led by Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali Group, plans to start oil-palm plantations in Assam, Tripura and other northeastern states. Edible oil processing company Ruchi Soya was acquired by Patanjali Group two years ago. At that time the company was in loss. Patanjali Group has already conducted field survey for palm plantations. These plantations will be set up through contracts with farmers. The purchase of oil palm will be guaranteed by Ruchi Soya’s processing plants to be set up in those states.
