Islamabad: Famous Hindu doctor Dharam Dev Rathi in Pakistan was allegedly killed by his driver Hanif Leghari by slitting his throat inside the house. A day after this incident, the accused driver has been arrested. Dr. Dharam Dev was a resident of Hyderabad city of Pakistan. It is being told that the accused driver took out a knife from Dr. Dharam Dev’s house and killed him by slitting his throat.
The police have now arrested the accused driver after a day. The doctor’s cook told the police that there was a dispute between the doctor and the driver on the way. When the driver reached home, he went to the kitchen, took out a knife and slit his throat inside the doctor’s house. After this the driver fled in the doctor’s car. According to The Nation report, Dr. Dharmadev was a respected doctor from Hyderabad.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Provincial Minister for Minority Affairs Gyan Chand Israni has praised the police for arresting the accused within 24 hours. He assured the family of the deceased doctor that they would get justice. Meanwhile, Faryal Talpur, chief of the women’s wing of the ruling Pakistan People’s Party in Pakistan, has condemned the murder. He said that this incident is very heart-wrenching. He has also given full confidence of justice to the doctor’s family. He said that such an incident is very sad, that too when we are celebrating Holi.
