Pakistan Educationist Killed: PhD scholar shot 11 bullets in Pakistan, lost his life in a war between two tribes

Pakistan Educationist Killed: Dr. Ajmal Sawand, a prominent PhD scholar associated with the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) of Pakistan, was shot dead in a tribal dispute in the upper Sindh region. He was killed. This information was given by ARY News on Saturday (April 8).  

According to an information, Dr Mohammad Ajmal Sawand was going back to Sukkur from his village in Kandhkot when shooters suspected to be of Sundarani clan opened fire on his car in Shallow area, killing him on the spot.< /p>

PhD scholar Mohammad Ajmal Sawand came back from France after doing PhD in Artificial Intelligence (AI) to serve his people. Kandhkot police said in a statement that two groups of Sundarani and Sawand clan were fighting since 2022, in which seven people have lost their lives. Speaking to ARY News, SSP Kashmor Irfan Samo said that Dr. Ajmal Sawand was hit by 11 bullets in this indiscriminate and brutal attack.

SSP claimed that after the murder, a raid was conducted in the village of Sundaranis against the dacoits of the riverside forest. However, he added that all the suspects along with their families have fled the area after the incident.

Dr. Ajmal Sawand has been a student of Cadet College Larkana. He earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Software Engineering from Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro in 2006.

Subsequently he obtained a master’s degree in computer science from Jean Monnet University, Saint-Etienne, France in 2011, followed by a PhD from Paris Descartes University in 2015.
