Pakistan Economic Crisis: Inflation rises again in poor Pakistan, petrol reaches Rs 272 and diesel Rs 293 per liter

Pakistan  Crisis: The troubles of Pakistan, which is going through an economic crisis, are not taking the name of abatement. On one hand, the wait for the help from IMF is increasing. On the other hand, due to uncontrollable inflation, people’s difficulties are increasing. Actually, once again the price of petrol and diesel has increased in Pakistan. This increased price of petrol in Pakistan has become effective from Thursday i.e. 16th March. These prices will be applicable till March 31.

According to media reports, petrol has been increased by Rs.5 per liter and diesel by Rs.13 per litre. Now petrol in Pakistan has become Rs.272 per liter and  High-Speed ​​Diesel (HSD) has become Rs.293 per liter. Along with this, the price of kerosene has also increased to Rs 190.29 per litre, while the price of Light Diesel Oil (LDO) remains Rs 184.68 per litre. 

The increase in the prices of petrol and diesel has been implemented in Pakistan from March 16. These prices will remain in force till March 31. After that revision can be done again. Significantly, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs 5 per litre. Till now petrol was being sold at Rs 267 per liter in Pakistan, now petrol will be available there at Rs 272 per litre. 

Diesel prices have been increased more than two and a half times compared to petrol. Diesel prices have increased by a total of Rs 13 per litre. Till now it was being sold at Rs 280 per litre, but after the rate hike, the price of diesel has gone up to Rs 293 per litre. Also, the price of kerosene has been increased by Rs 2.56 per litre. Kerosene, which was sold at Rs 187.73 per liter till now, has now become Rs 190.29 per litre.

Pakistan waiting for IMF help 

The government of Pakistan is waiting for IMF’s $1.1 billion fund. But the IMF has not yet approved the bailout package. Many pictures of Pakistan have already gone viral on social media in which people are seen struggling to meet their daily needs. Meanwhile, the increase in the prices of electricity, gas, petrol and diesel can be a new challenge for the people.
