A shopkeeper was attacked by two youths and injured when he was asked about having corona when coughing. The family members admitted the shopkeeper to a nearby hospital. The police have arrested both the accused after registering a case of attempt to murder. The accused have been identified as Waseem Ahmed and Abrar.
The injured has been identified as Vipin, a resident of Shyam Colony. In the statement given to the police, Vipin told that his uncle Pramod has a clothes shop in Shani Bazar. On 23 October he was at his uncle’s shop. Meanwhile, a man came to his shop. The man was coughing. Seeing him coughing, Vipin asked him whether he had corona disease. On this he got angry and started arguing with Vipin. After some time two youths came to Vipin’s shop. Attacked with bars and rods.
