Most deaths due to corona virus infection in Russia for the second consecutive day on Saturday

Moscow: Corona virus infection in Russia killed 1254 people on Saturday, which is the highest number of deaths in a day. The death toll in the country on Friday was also equal to this. The Corona Virus Task Force gave this information. According to the report of the Government Task Force, 37,120 new cases of infection were reported in the country in a day.

Daily cases of infection appear to have been on the decline in recent weeks but are still high. Due to the carelessness of people in taking precautions against corona virus infection and the slow pace of vaccination, there was an increase in the number of infections recently.

So far only 40 percent of people in Russia have been fully immunized. According to the report of the task force, so far about 93 lakh people have been infected while 2,62,843 people have died.

Earlier on Tuesday, Russia announced that it would resume air travel to Argentina, Bangladesh, Brazil, Costa Rica and Mongolia from December 1. Russia has taken this decision amid an increase in the cases of Kovid-19 here.

The country’s state-run Coronavirus Task Force said Russia would also lift remaining restrictions on flights to Cuba, Mexico and Qatar and increase the number of flights to Italy, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Vietnam from December 1.
