Omicron Coronavirus Variant: The more infectious form of Kovid B.1.1.1.529 was first reported to the World Health Organization by South Africa on 24 November. After this it has also been identified in Botswana, Belgium, Hong Kong, Israel, UK, Australia, Denmark and the Netherlands. The WHO named it Omicron on 26 November, describing it as ‘worrisome’. ,
