In this case, the whole world of Islamic nation was strongly condemned. At first the Iranian government denied it, but later admitted that the schoolgirls were poisoned. According to Iran’s Tasnim news agency, the suspects have now been arrested in this case. 

A spokesman for the Iranian police told the media that more than 110 suspects have been arrested in connection with the suspected poisoning of students in some schools. The police officer said, "Police have increased their patrols near schools to 4,000 following reports of school poisonings over the past few weeks.

More than 100 people were arrested

According to the report of the news agency Xinhua, the Iranian police officer said that some cases of poisoning were real, but most of the cases were registered only out of fear and anxiety. At the same time, the Iranian government also said on Saturday (March 11) that more than 100 people have been arrested in 11 provinces for their involvement in the recent incidents of poisoning of girl students. The government had said that in some cases this was done due to mutual enmity. It was they who tried to create fear and anxiety among the people and girl students.

The issue was raised in the UNSC meeting

Let us tell you that on November 30, the first case of poisoning of girl students came to light in Iran’s Qom province. After this, more than 700 girl students of 30 schools were mysteriously poisoned. Recently, a United Nations Human Rights meeting was held in Geneva, in which this matter of Iran was raised. Many countries had expressed concern over this. Iran’s deputy education minister also admitted that some people did this to prevent girls from going to school. However, he later retracted his statement.
