Hindu Temples Attack: ‘Action will be taken against those who attack Hindu temples…’, Australia’s PM Anthony Albanese assures

PM Anthony Albanese On Hindu Temple Attack: Hindu temples are being targeted in Australia for the last few days. PM Modi also raised this issue in front of Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese on Saturday (March 11). This Australian PM Anthony Albanese has also assured to take action. Talking to the media, PM Albanese said, "There is no place for such incidents in Australia." 

Australian PM said, "We do not tolerate such attacks on religious buildings, be it Hindu temples, mosques, synagogues or churches. We will take every action through our police and our security agencies to ensure this." 

PM Modi raised this issue

Earlier PM Narendra Modi raised the issue with his Australian counterpart. PM Modi said, "For the last few weeks, news of attacks on temples is continuously coming to the fore in Australia. It is natural that such news worries people in India. I have raised these concerns with Prime Minister Albanese. The Australian PM has also assured that the safety and well-being of the Indian community in Australia is a priority for him."

Shri Lakshmi Narayan temple was vandalized

Let us tell you that on March 3, the Sri Lakshmi Narayan Temple in Brisbane, Australia was vandalised. Anti-India slogans were found written on the walls of the temple. The hand of Khalistani supporters is being told behind this incident. Earlier in January, the Sri Shiv Vishnu Temple in Carrom Downs, Australia was attacked.
