Germany: A special team of the German police on Friday (March 10) arrested a man who took people hostage. A police team raided a pharmacy in the southwestern city of Karlsruhe and arrested a young man. The youth is alleged to have kept several people hostage for hours.

According to the media reports, the police arrested the person by running their special operation. It is being told that the police carried out this operation with extreme caution. The entire city was closed during the incident. According to the information, after taking the hostage, the accused had demanded an amount of one million euros as ransom. However, the police foiled the plan of the accused. 

According to the information received, there was a stampede in Jehovah’s Witness Hall in Hamburg at around 4.30 pm. When several explosions were heard only after the entry of the employees in the pharmacy. An atmosphere of panic was created in the surrounding area after the incident. The local people informed the police about the incident. The operation started at 9.30 pm. After hard work, the suspected young man who blasted in the pharmacy was caught by the police. 

The hostage-taker demanded a ransom
