EU approves Pfizer’s anti-Covid-19 vaccine for children aged 5 to 11

Hague: The European Union’s (EU) drug regulator on Thursday approved Pfizer’s anti-Covid-19 vaccine for children aged five to 11 years. With this, the way has been cleared for vaccination of millions of school children amid a rise in new cases of corona virus in Europe. This is the first time the European Medicines Agency has approved a COVID vaccine for the vaccination of children. The agency said it has approved the COVID-19 vaccine ‘Comirneti’ for immunization of children aged between five and 11 years.
