Nepal-China Relations: Nepal, a country surrounded by India from three sides, is growing closer to China. The new government there has held a meeting of the China-Nepal Investment and Economic Trade Forum-2023 in the capital Kathmandu. The government of Nepal has said to follow China’s One China Policy. According to media reports, representatives of the two countries met in Kathmandu on March 14, where the Nepali PM expressed hope for strengthening trade cooperation with China and more Chinese investment, to help Nepal achieve its development goals. . He said that China is Nepal’s second largest trading partner and Nepal’s largest source of foreign direct investment.

‘China’s new move is beneficial for us’
Nepalese Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ said that Nepal is confident that China’s economic development achievements will provide more opportunities to Nepal, and Related trade and investment will help Nepal grow and prosper. Nepali PM praised China for including Nepal as a pilot country to resume outbound mass tourism of Chinese nationals.

He said that Nepal’s tourism industry had suffered a lot due to the Corona epidemic, and China’s new move will have a positive impact on Nepal’s tourism industry. The Nepali PM said that his country will never allow Nepali land to be used for anti-China activities. During this, Nepal requested more investment from China. 

Chinese Ambassador also praised Nepal
According to the report of Beijing’s China Media Group, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Chan Song said in his speech that China is ready to take the express train of Chinese development. Welcomes Nepal for this and commends Nepal for its active participation in China’s Belt and Road Initiative and global development initiatives. Please tell that India does not support China’s Belt and Road, because it is against India.
