Russian Jet Shot Down British Spy Plane: According to a leaked Pentagon document circulated on social media, a Russian fighter jet shot down an unarmed British aircraft over the Black Sea last year. The British spy plane was flying off the Crimean coast on 29 September when it was shot down.
According to a leaked Pentagon document, UK Defense Secretary Ben Wallace told the House of Commons of Parliament about the incident in October last year, saying that two Russian Su-27 fighter jets flew over the Black Sea. The RC-135 was intercepted in international airspace.
Ben Wallace further shared that at some distance one of the Russian jets "fired a missile. However, he did not describe the incident as an attack from Russia. He launched the missile "technical fault" termed.
