Birbhum News: Confusion over taking leave, government officials involved in a fight in the office

Allegations were raised against the government official of getting involved in a scuffle in the district chief health officer’s office. Joint Secretary Amitesh Biswas who is working in Nabanna has counter-complained that he was physically assaulted when he went to the office of District Chief Health Officer Himadri Adi. There has been an uproar in the administrative circles regarding this incident of Siuri Block No. 1 health center. Both the parties filed a complaint at Siuri police station. District Magistrate of Birbhum assured to take action after checking the CCTV footage. The District Chief Health Officer has been admitted to the hospital due to feeling unwell. 

Allegation, AYUSH Department Medical Officer Tinka Srimani forcibly signed the attendance book without any notice. Allegedly, due to which his salary of one month was deducted. District Chief Health Officer complained that Amitesh Biswas, the husband of the medical officer and joint secretary, appeared in his office in a sullen mood yesterday. The joint secretary counter-charged the beating.

The officer working in Nabanna complained of retaliation. District Magistrate of Birbhum has assured to take action after examining the CCTV footage.

Aarti Dom, a patient of Birbhum’s Seuri Barachaturi Primary Health Centre, says the doctor has not been coming to the hospital for 2 months. Patients have to come and go back. Accused homeopathy doctor Tinka Srimani joined the work on Thursday. According to the claim of the accused doctor, he took leave by applying in writing as per the rules. However, the salary has been deducted.

In the words of medical officer Tinka Shrimani, I was on leave, I took leave. Why has my money been deducted? According to health center sources, the husband of Mrs. Tinka approached the district chief health officer’s office about the issue of his wife’s mine. Who himself is a government official. The chief health officer of Birbhum approached the District Magistrate of Birbhum informing about the incident.

Amitesh Biswas, the husband of the accused doctor, says that his wife Tinka Shrimani has not been given the mine for the past one month. When the chief health officer’s staff came to know about this, they beat me with a stick.

There has been an uproar in the administrative circles regarding this incident at the Siuri No. 1 Block Health Center. According to sources, both parties have filed a complaint against each other at the Siuri police station. In this situation, the District Magistrate of Birbhum has assured to take action after examining the CCTV footage.
