Clouds had started appearing in the sky of the capital since evening itself. Suddenly strong winds started blowing after 5:30 in the morning. There was overcast darkness in the capital till 6 in the morning. It started feeling like night in the morning itself. After this it started raining with thunder. The effect of rain has been seen in almost all the areas of the capital. The wind is also seen moving at a speed of 30 kilometers per hour. Due to this, the temperature reached 35 degree Celsius in the capital a day ago and there seems to be relief from the heat-like condition felt by it.

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in the capital will be cold during the day on Friday. Due to clouds and rain, the day temperature is expected to be up to 28 degree Celsius. A decrease of 7 degree Celsius is expected in the maximum temperature. There was a steady rise in temperature in the capital for the last three to four days. After this, there was a possibility of rain-like situation arising. Due to heavy rains on Friday morning, the weather has become pleasant once again.
