Anil Singh, Banda: In Banda, UP, a priest sleeping in a room next to the Ram Janaki temple was brutally murdered by adopting a sharp-edged tool. When the family members reached the room on Thursday morning, they found a blood-soaked body. On getting information about the incident, the Superintendent of Police reached the spot and started investigation. The incident is of village Mahokhar under Dehat Kotwali.
Shatrughan Tiwari (60), a resident of the village, has been worshiping in the Shri Ram Janaki temple located in the same village for many years and lives in a new house adjacent to the same temple, while his family members live in the old house. When the people of the house went to his room this morning, his dead body was lying soaked in blood. Unknown persons have brutally murdered him with a sharp instrument. As soon as this information was received, there was a stir in the whole village. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police also reached the spot. Superintendent of Police Abhinandan reached with dog squad and field unit and took stock of the entire incident. The people of the village quietly told that for the last many days there is a dispute between father and son regarding the land. It is possible that the son himself has executed this incident.
In this regard, Superintendent of Police Abhinandan told that from the investigation on the spot, prima facie it has been found that the deceased has been murdered. The matter of quarrel between father and son is also coming to the fore. Police is investigating keeping every point in mind. Very soon this matter will be disclosed.
