Mathura: A case of stone pelting on the police team has come to light by the villagers of Patlauni village of Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. 4 policemen have been injured in the attack. The police team had reached here on the complaint of illegal occupation. There was a pile of garbage on the occupied land. It is alleged that the women and men of the accused party pelted stones at the police for removing the garbage. The JCB that reached to remove the encroachment was damaged. The police chased away the stone pelters along with the accused.

In relation to the attack on the police team, SP Dehat Trigun Bisen said that a case has been registered against two dozen named people and 15-20 unknown on Thursday. Two of these accused have been arrested. Investigation is on in the matter. According to information, there are heaps of garbage near the school on Bhartia Road, Patlauni. Regarding this, Tarun, Dharmendra, Ashok Gautam of the village had complained about the removal of the encroachment. On which the police and revenue team went to remove the encroachment with JCB. It is alleged that the accused parties Ramesh Chandra, Manika Singh etc. opposed the police team.

The accused side argued fiercely with the police and strongly opposed the team. It is alleged that the police explained a lot to the protesting people, but they did not agree and pelted stones at the police itself. The police then vigorously chased away the accused and the stone pelters. However, the police have pacified the matter.

SP Dehat Trigun Bisen told that people had complained about illegal occupation in the village. Police went with JCB to remove the possession. The accused pelted stones, in which four policemen were injured. He has been sent to the hospital for treatment. On the other hand, the police have arrested two accused by registering a case against two dozen named and 20 unknown people who pelted stones and ransacked.
