Sonbhadra News: People yearning for drop by drop of water in this hospital of 7 crores, drinking water could not be arranged even after 2 years
Gyan Prakash Chaturvedi, Sonbhadra: The 50-bed AYUSH hospital built at a cost of 7 crores in Lodhi, Sonbhadra, Uttar Pradesh, is proving to be a sham for the patients. The patients and their relatives who came here are yearning for water drop by drop. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has inaugurated this hospital on December 22, 2021, but complete arrangements for treatment could not be made in it till date. Patients reaching the hospital here do not even have pure drinking water. Due to this, the doctors and patients working in the hospital including the patients are facing a lot of trouble. Alam is that the doctors and workers working in the hospital reach after arranging water from home while the patients have to drink bottled water from the market outside the hospital.

A boring of 800 feet was done for this hospital, but due to dry area as well as hilly area, the bore was not successful and water could not be found. Ayurvedic, Homeopathy and Unani methods are used in this hospital and hundreds of patients come here daily for treatment. The patients who came here told that there is a big problem of water in this hospital. Despite being ill, people are forced to drink dirty water from tankers.

On the other hand, Neeraj Tiwari, who came to the hospital for treatment, told that there was water shortage in the 50-bed Integrated Ayush Hospital due to drying up of borings. Due to this patients and their relatives have to wander for water, but the hospital management is not paying any attention to it. Because of this patients and their relatives have to wander for water. Drinking water is also available only from the water tank installed in the hospital premises. Water is being supplied to the hospital through tankers, which is not fit for drinking.

Medical Officer of Ayush Hospital Jitendra Pal Tripathi said that there is a water problem here. We bring water from home but it runs out. Here everyone drinks dirty water from tankers. That tanker also comes on the third day. He said that I request you and the District Magistrate with folded hands, please arrange drinking water in this hospital as soon as possible.

While an attempt was made to talk to Rajesh Singh Chandel, Medical Superintendent of Ayush Hospital, he flatly refused to talk on camera on this issue. He said that you people should raise this issue, but my name should not come in front, because when questions are raised on this issue, instead of solving the problem, I am questioned and answered.
