Shadab Rizvi, Meerut: The Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh (RSS) will sound the bugle from Hastinapur in Meerut, the land of Mahabharata, to increase cow-based farming within the country. Bhartiya Kisan Sangh, a subsidiary organization of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, will hold an All India Mahasammelan for three days from March 17 to 19 in Hastinapur to promote cow-based farming.

Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat will address about 500 farmer representatives and agricultural scientists coming from different parts of the country on March 19. This Mahasammelan of RSS and Bhartiya Kisan Sangh Hastinapur has prepared a strategy to launch a massive awareness campaign on the explosion of cancer and other incurable diseases caused by the use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers. Meanwhile, Bharatiya Kisan Sangh Meerut Province has also started a public awareness campaign on Wednesday, March 15, ‘Poison-free farming, drug-free man’.

According to Shiv Kant Dixit, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand Organization Minister of Bharatiya Kisan Sangh, the conference will be inaugurated on March 17 by Badrinarayan Chaudhary, President of Bharatiya Kisan Sangh and All India General Secretary Mohini Mohan Mishra. It was told that in the Mahasammelan, scientists and farmers from all over the country will examine cow-based farming on the basis of science.

For this, experts will give presentation and tell the farmers why cow-based farming is scientific, in detail. Farmers doing completely cow-based farming in the country will be brought to the Mahasammelan. He will advise other farmers to adopt this farming by telling about his experience and benefits. There will also be an in-depth discussion on coarse cereals, storage, agricultural research, pulses and oilseeds points in this Mahasammelan.

Indian breeds and identity of the cow will be included in the Mahasammelan of Cow-Based Agriculture. Breed of Cow Sahiwal, Gir, Red Sindhi, Rathi, Tharparkar, Deoni, Nagauri, Nimadi, Siri, Mewati, Hallikar, Bhagnari, Kangayam, Malvi, Gaonlav, Vechur, Bargur, Krishna Bailey, Dangi, Pawar, Angol, Hasi, Bachour , Alambadi farmers will be given information about pure Indian breeds like Kherigarh, Khilari, Amritmahal, Dajjal, Dhanni etc.

In the Cow-Based Agriculture Mahasammelan, information about the breeding cycle of these cows will also be given by telling about the specialty of milk and ghee of these cows. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s Sar Sanghchalak Dr. Mohan Rao Bhagwat will address the farmers at the closing ceremony on March 19.
