Kameshwar Chaupal, a member of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Nyas, told that the foundation of the Panchdev temple has been laid. It will be constructed in the first phase itself, so that after offering prayers to Lord Ram, devotees can complete their worship duly by having darshan and circumambulation of Panchadevs. He told that the Panchdev temple will be constructed in the park, in which apart from Lord Surya, temples of Ganesh, Maa Bhavani, Lord Shankar, Hanuman ji will be established and in the kitchen of Ramlala, the idol of Maa Annapurna will be established in the north direction.
Chaupal told that in the second and third phase of the construction of the temple, apart from sage Agastya, sage Vishwamitra, sage Vashishtha, Maharishi Valmiki and goddess Ahilya, the personalities who came in contact with Lord Rama during exile, such as Jatayu, Mata Shabari, Nishadraj were also placed. Whose construction work is expected to be completed by 2025. Sources said that a ‘master plan’ has been finalized for this.
Parmanand Giri Ji Maharaj, another member of the trust, told about the progress of the temple construction that the construction of the Ram temple is going on at a fast pace and the construction work of the first phase will be completed by December 2023. He told that after this in January 2024, when the Sun will be in Uttarayan, then on an auspicious date, ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of Ramlala will be done in the sanctum sanctorum. Another trustee of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Nyas told that on Makar Sankranti, the Sun enters Uttarayan, in such a situation, auspicious time will be decided after consulting Acharyas and astrologers, which may be in the third or fourth week of January.
beam placing work will start
He informed that the work of placing beams on the pillars of the ground floor of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple has started and some beams have also been placed. At the same time, Chaupal told that there will be about 400 pillars in the Ram temple, of which there will be about 160 pillars on the ground floor and 132 pillars on the first floor. He told, “The construction of the pillar is a very fine and complex work, because 14-16 idols are being carved on each pillar.” Chaupal told that on Ramnavmi, the rays of the sun reach the idol of Ramlala directly, for this space is created. Work is being done with the scientists of the department and other institutions and accordingly it is also being decided that what will be the height of the idol.
He said that Ram Navami usually falls at the end of March, so it would be a beautiful occasion for devotees from all over the country. Another member of the trust said that according to the advice of experts, the best teak wood from Ballarpur in Chandrapur district of Maharashtra has been selected for the doors of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple. These woods have been sent to Ayodhya after worship.
He informed that a large facility center is being set up for the devotees, in which there will be arrangement of cloakroom for five thousand people and drinking water and toilet facilities will also be there.
