Mirzapur News: The engine of the goods train went ahead, the guard was left behind with the coaches, the track was stalled for half an hour

In the morning, a goods train loaded with coal was going towards Chunar from Prayagraj. The goods train had reached near Hayatnagar before Mirzapur railway station that the goods train split into two parts, after which the engine went a long way. When the guard suspected that the train had stopped and was not going ahead, he contacted the driver. After contacting, it was found that the train has split into two. In a hurry, the guard stopped the goods train, after which the train was rejoined. During this, the operation came to a complete standstill for about half an hour. After reconnecting the two parts, the goods train was flagged off, after which other trains could also proceed. Due to the prudence of the guard and the driver, a major accident was averted.

Railway PRO of NCR region Amit Singh told that the goods train was going from Vindhyachal to Mirzapur. The goods train was stopped on the way. When the goods train started, a part was left behind, where the engine went far ahead. After the information, both were reunited and the goods train was dispatched. In view of security, the train leaves only after the investigation, so after connecting, the train left after the investigation.
