A procession was taken out by some people on the occasion of Ram Navami. During this, there was a fight between two communities for stopping the DJ. Along with this, DJ’s car also got damaged due to stone and brick pelting. As soon as the matter was informed, the police reached and caught the miscreants from both the sides and took them into custody. However, 5 of them were released after questioning.

DCP North SM Qasim Abdi told that on the occasion of Ram Navami, a procession was being taken out by some people. During this, there was a dispute regarding the closure of the DJ. Till now no complaint has been given from anyone’s side, due to which no action has been taken. At the same time, a sit-in was also given by some people, who have been returned after persuasion. The DCP said that those who took part in the Ram Navami procession were released after questioning.

Uproar over playing DJ

According to information, the procession started from Gudamba area and was going towards Madianv village via Jankipuram Sahara State via Tedhi Pulia. Meanwhile, on the way, a young man who came out of the Shahi Masjid said that it is time for Namaz, stop the DJ. During this, the people who took out the procession stopped the DJ, but in the meantime there was a ruckus and the dispute escalated. After this, both the sides started fighting and the worshipers also came out of the mosque. When the matter became tense, the police had taken the rioters into custody.

Uproar in Babasaheb University as well

On the other hand, in Babasaheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University, there was a lot of uproar on the occasion of Ram Navami. ABVP workers took out a procession. During this, the students of the university protested against the involvement of outside students, but they did not agree. After this, ABVP workers beat up the students near the library in the presence of police administration and security guards. The students alleged that during the procession no security guard took the burden of pacifying the brawl.
