Hamirpur: The bride insisted on keeping husband and lover together, the girl created high voltage drama in Kotwali

A youth resident of Basela village of Rath police station Kotwali of Hamirpur district was married to a girl in Chirgaon of Jhansi district on February 22 last year. After marriage, the girl started talking to her lover on the phone. Her lover Orai lives in Jalaun who belongs to backward caste. Relatives said that even after the marriage, the bride had reached Rath town to elope with her lover on the phone and created a ruckus by reaching Kotwali with a garland.

Demand put in front of police

The girl kept her strange demand in front of the CO and the in-charge inspector. The girl first said that she has to marry the lover. Meanwhile, the family members reached the spot where the girl again flared up, she again created ruckus in front of the officers in Kotwali. Apart from her husband, she was adamant on keeping her lover with her. Due to the ruckus of the girl, there was chaos in the police station.

During the uproar in the dress of the bride in Kotwali, the woman constable who went to explain to the girl was not spared either. An angry girl broke her mobile phone while scuffling with the lady constable. The family somehow managed to control him. The girl’s husband told that she has insisted on marrying her lover. Now she wants that apart from her husband, she will also keep her lover with her. Inspector in-charge of Rath Kotwali, Bharat Kumar told that the newly married woman is mentally ill, she has been handed over to her relatives at present.
