Fraud of lakhs in the name of getting a job by becoming a CBI officer, accused arrested with pistol and cartridges

Firozabad: On Monday, the police arrested the accused of cheating in the name of getting a job by pretending to be a CBI officer. On receiving several complaints from the people of cheating of lakhs of rupees, the police caught the accused while taking action. According to police sources, a complaint was lodged with the police by Bhagwati Devi, a resident of Mainpuri Kotwali Nai Basti. He alleged that Satish, a young man living on rent in his neighboring house, used to call himself a CBI officer.

It is alleged that he cheated lakhs of rupees from many people in the name of providing government jobs to unemployed youths. In the name of getting a job from his grandson also took Rs 1.5 lakh. Apart from this, he also took three lakh rupees from Ram Gopal of the locality in the name of getting his wife a job in the bank. Satish had disappeared after taking the money. Police was on the lookout after registering a report against him.

On Monday, the police arrested him at the local roadways bus stand. Apart from three fake IDs, the police also recovered cash and illegal pistols and cartridges from him.
