Kanpur: A surprising incident has come to light from Kanpur in UP. On the day of Bhai Dooj, the sister wishes for the long life of her brother by applying Tilak, but on the day of Bhaidooj, such an incident took place, which everyone is surprised to hear. Brother asked sister for money to drink alcohol. When the sister refused to give the money, the angry brother thrashed the sister. Hurt by this, the sister consumed poison. When the sister’s condition started deteriorating, the brother also consumed poisonous substance, in which both the siblings died.
Surendra Kumar, living in Ishepur village of Shivrajpur police station area, is a disabled person. Surendra Kumar’s elder son Ashish Kumar (20) used to do a private job in Panipat. On Thursday evening, Ashish was insisting on drinking alcohol. For this Ashish was asking money from sister Deeksha. When Deeksha did not give the money, he beat up his sister. Angered by this, first the sister and then the brother consumed poison. The relatives took both of them to a private hospital. From where both were referred to Halt. In Halat where brother and sister died during treatment.

After the death of brother and sister, the condition of Divyang father Surendra worsened. Whereas, mother Usha Devi became unconscious. When the dead bodies of brother and sister reached the village, there was chaos. The stoves did not burn in the village, the cremation of brother and sister was performed at Khereshwar Ghat.
