Bhadohi: Crook Arrested After Encounter In Bhadohi, Notorious Criminal Was Absconding For Four Years

Bhadohi: The police of Bhadohi district of Uttar Pradesh arrested the notorious criminal Satyabhan after an encounter. Satyabhan, accused in 40 cases including murder, robbery and dacoity, was absconding for four years. He was shot in the leg during the encounter. A police officer gave this information on Friday. Bhadohi Superintendent of Police (SP) Anil Kumar said that Satyabhan, a resident of Singhpur under Surayawa police station area, has been admitted to the hospital after being shot.

According to Kumar, 40 cases have been registered against Satyabhan alias Dagdha and he was absconding for four years, due to which his house has been attached. He said that during midnight checking of vehicles on Thursday, the police asked the person riding the bike to stop, but he did not stop. While running away from the police, he fell off the bike and started running. On being chased, he fired at the police, to which the police retaliated and one bullet hit him in the leg. After this he was caught.

Kumar said that it was then revealed that he was a notorious criminal, Satya Bhan. The SP told that Rs 15,000 will be given as a reward to the team that nabs Satyabhan.
