Manish Singh, Noida: Corona patients have started increasing once again in Gautam Buddha Nagar. With the receipt of 3 new cases on Monday, the number of active patients has increased to 28 in the district. According to the health department, 27 patients are in home isolation and one patient is hospitalized. The District Health Department has also issued guidelines on the instructions of the government regarding the increasing cases of corona. Till Sunday, the number of active corona patients in the district was 25. The number has increased to 28 with 3 more new patients being found on Monday.
Instructions have also been given for surveillance, testing, monitoring and identification of Covid clusters. Patients with symptoms of influenza are also increasing rapidly. Most of them are elderly, children and pregnant. Most of the patients are seeing symptoms of cough with fever for a long time. Corona suspected patients reaching the district hospital for treatment are being investigated. Everyday about 100 people are being tested for antigen and RT-PCR in the district hospital.
Investigation of corona positive patients from private lab
Public health expert Dr. Amit Kumar said that all the patients found corona positive have got their tests done in private labs. The condition of all the patients is stable. A patient is admitted in the hospital. Facility for treatment of Covid patients is available at Bhangel CHC located in Sector-110. At the same time there is not a single positive patient of influenza. Soon the samples of the suspects will be sent for investigation.
Preparing for genome sequencing
The new variant of Corona has raised concerns. Genome sequencing of positive patients found in Noida-Greno will be done. For this, the District Health Department has issued instructions. CMO Dr. Sunil Kumar Sharma says that samples of swine flu suspects are sent to NCDC (National Center for Disease Control). Everyone’s report has come. Not a single swine flu positive patient has been found in it.
