The director of the company was admitted in the hospital and was undergoing treatment. Fraudsters fraudulently siphoned off Rs 26.5 lakh from his account, when he came to know about this incident, the ground slipped under his feet.

Noida Sector 8 based fintech company Invest 19 has an account with ICICI Bank in Sector 18. Mehak Tomar, director of this company, was unwell for several days, after which he was admitted to a private hospital in Noida, where he was undergoing treatment. Right now she was struggling with her health that on Friday morning Rs 26.5 lakh was withdrawn from her company’s account. The special thing is that Mehak Tomar neither received any kind of OTP nor did he get any login information for this money transaction. In a hurry, the victim had to get herself discharged from the hospital in a sick condition.

When he came to know about this through the message, he tried to contact the customer care of the bank through phone, but the customer care of the bank could not be reached at that time. After which his family reached the Sector 18 branch of the bank, where he told the whole incident to the bankers. When the bank scrutinized the concerned account, it was found that transactions have been done from the company’s account in total three times.
