Sanjeev Saxena, a resident of Eco Village-2, told that about 40 people were offering Namaz on Monday night by putting up tents and laying carpets in the vacant space on the third floor of the commercial market of the society. The residents here created a ruckus opposing the place made by putting up tents for Namaz in the society. People alleged that the maintenance department of the society has made this illegal place to offer Namaz, in which Namaz is being offered five times a day, which is a completely illegal activity. There is no such arrangement in the plan of the society.
The people of the society say that earlier the residents of this place were offering Namaz here, but now slowly the crowd has started coming. People from nearby areas including Shahberi also started coming here. Due to this the people of the society are feeling insecure. Entry of outsiders will not be allowed.
Police removed the tent
On getting information about the uproar in the society, Bisrakh police station reached the spot. Kotwali in-charge Anil Rajput told that the police held talks with both the parties, after which a consensus was reached. The tent was removed from there and it was said that now Namaz will not be offered here. Unless a letter is issued in writing from the builder.
