Dehradun: Former IFS Sanatan Sonkar left Congress and joined SP, will contest from Jwalapur

Former IFS officer Sanatan Sonkar left Congress and joined Samajwadi Party on Tuesday. He will contest from Jwalapur assembly seat in Haridwar.


Sanatan Sonkar reached the SP’s state office on Tuesday. He was given membership by the party’s state president Dr. SN Sachan. On this occasion, Dr. Sachan said that this time Samajwadi Party is going to play an important role in the politics of Haridwar as well as in the state. His government will work in the interest of society. Recently many big leaders have taken membership of the party in Haridwar. Soon more than ten big leaders of Haridwar are going to join the SP.
