Central Board of Secondary Education: Paper will come in Term-2 board exam in old pattern

In the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Term-2 examinations to be held in March this year, students will have to solve papers in the old pattern. In the board examination of Term-1, the students of 10th and 12th appeared for the first time on the OMR sheet. In this, only multiple choice questions were asked, but in the Term-2 exam, the board has decided to ask questions in the old pattern. For this, sample papers have also been issued by the board.

Keeping in mind the safety of the children during the Corona period, the board has decided to conduct the board examination in two phases this time. Term-1 examinations have been completed in December last year. In such a situation, the board examinations of term-2 are to be held in March. For this, preparations have been started by the board and affiliated schools.

CBSE has also released the time table for various subjects on its official website. These will help the students to understand the exam pattern and questions. Apart from this, students can also check subject wise mock tests as per CBSE guidelines for Term-2 Board Exams for Class 10 and 12.

Amit Sharma, Principal of National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Visual Disabilities (NIEPVD), said that the sample papers issued by the board have been issued in the old pattern. In such a situation, questions will be asked in the old pattern in the board examination of Term-2. The 40 marks paper will be based on case-based, situation-based, minor and major question answers to the students. These days online education of children is being done on the basis of sample paper.
