The Ghaziabad District Administration and Health Department is on full alert mode regarding the variant Omicron of Corona. To prevent it from spreading, on one side, many schemes are being worked on. On the other hand, the District Magistrate of Ghaziabad has imposed Section 144 in the district till January 27. After this, not more than five people will be allowed to gather in any public place. Apart from this, permission will have to be taken for any kind of event, performance, meeting etc. Not only this, action will also be taken against the violators.
District Magistrate Rakesh Kumar Singh said that as soon as the variant Omicron of Corona was heard, various schemes are being worked by the district administration to prevent it from spreading. People have also been asked to remain alert. That is, everyone must follow the corona period. He said that it will be mandatory for the driver and all the people sitting on the vehicle to wear a mask. On the other hand, the operation of stadium, gym, swimming pool, cinema hall and restaurant will also have to be done under the Kovid-19 protocol.
Section 144 imposed for not gathering crowd
He informed that in the coming times, many social organizations organize events on the birthday of former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh, Christmas Day, New Year, Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti, Makar Sankranti and Karpoori Thakur Jayanti. For this a large number of crowds gather at the same place. At the same time, people are busy in preparations for the upcoming assembly elections. Therefore, gathering of large crowd in one place is not free from danger. That is, there is every possibility of spreading the Omicron variant of Corona after the gathering of more crowd. Therefore, taking it seriously requires utmost care. Under this, section 144 has been imposed in the district till January 27.
