When the police started the handpump, instead of water, raw liquor suddenly started coming out of it. When digging was done under it, it was found that there are illegal liquor tanks in the ground. During the action, the police destroyed a large quantity of wheat. At the same time, four people including three women were arrested and 550 liters of liquor was recovered.

On the instructions of Superintendent of Police Gopal Krishna Chowdhary, the team of Kotwali Talbehat Police and Excise Department raided Kabutara Dera, the base of illegal liquor businessmen. Seeing the action of the police, there was a stir there. People making liquor were seen running there. During this, the team recovered 550 liters of raw liquor kept for sale while destroying 5 thousand liters of Lahan. Not only this, equipment for making liquor was also recovered. During the action, when the police personnel used a hand pump installed there to drink water, instead of water, raw liquor started coming out of the hand pump. When the police personnel dug into the ground below the handpump, they found tanks filled with liquor. Police arrested four people including three women during the operation.

Superintendent of Police Gopal Krishna Chowdhary said that the police and the Excise team jointly raided illegal liquor making bases, during which 550 liters of liquor was recovered while destroying a large quantity of liquor. At the same time, four people including three women were arrested.
