For this Prayagraj Development Authority has also issued tenders. Before Diwali, preparations are also being made to lay the foundation stone of Affordable Housing Scheme under Urban Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
Preparation for making flats of PM Urban Awas Yojana
Now the implementation of this order of CM Yogi has also started. Prayagraj Development Authority has started preparations for construction of flats of Pradhan Mantri Shahari Awas Yojna on 1731 square meters worth crores of land vacated from the possession of Bahubali Atiq Ahmed in Lukarganj. For this, PDA has also tendered.
76 flats will be built for the poor at a cost of 6 crores
According to PDA’s vice-president Arvind Chauhan, 76 flats will be built for the poor at a cost of Rs 6 crore on this land which was evacuated from Mafia Atiq Ahmed as per the intention of the government. The area of a flat will be 34.09 square meters and its cost will be around Rs 7 lakh. But the person selected in the scheme will have to pay only 3.5 lakhs. While three and a half lakh government will give subsidy.
Facilities like community hall, children’s park will also be developed in this multi-storey building. The tender will open on October 28 and the foundation stone of this scheme will be laid before Diwali. Housing will be provided to the people in one to one and a half years.
