In the viral video, Shiva goes in front of all of them to audition with innocence on their face. Shiv Thackeray auditioned for Roadies in the year 2017. During this, Karan Kundra, Prince Narula and Rannvijay Singh offered them to be a part of their respective gangs. He was also praised for his simplicity. After this Shiva had chosen Rannvijay and said that he would never let his head bow down because it is a Marathi promise. Hearing this, Rannvijay’s eyes became moist. He became very emotional. Neha had even said that the work she could not do in two and a half years, she did it. After this he gets selected and then everyone talks to his mother also on the phone.

Before going to Bigg Boss 16, Shiv Thackeray while talking to ‘Zoom’ told that he had been trying to be a part of this show for the last 6 years but this is possible only now. He had told in the interview, ‘I was trying for this for 6 years. First did Roadies. I thought there would be a way out through this. But nothing happened from this. I waited again. Worked hard on myself. Still it didn’t work out.

Became part of 16th season by winning Marathi Big Boss 2
Shiv Thackeray told that he had also tried in Marathi Big Boss. ‘I used to write on the walls – Bigg Boss winner Shiv Thackeray 11. When the 11th season did not happen, I removed one and wrote 2 there. This made season 12. But that didn’t happen either. When Marathi Big Boss came, it did not happen in that either. After this, when its second season came, I felt that through this I will come in this Big Boss. But even after that it did not happen in season 15 and finally I am going to season 16.
