Indian cricketers Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul participated in filmmaker Karan Johar’s show ‘Koffee with Karan 6’ in the year 2018. During this sleep, Hardik and Rahul made some objectionable comments about women. After this a case was registered against both the cricketer and Karan Johar in Jodhpur. Now 3 years after the registration of the case, the Jodhpur High Court has given great relief to all three in this matter.

Court acquitted of all charges
According to the recent report, this case was filed by DR Meghwal against Karan Johar, Hardik and Rahul and now the High Court has dismissed it and considered the three innocent. During Karan Johar’s talk show, Hardik and Rahul spoke openly about their sex life. Both had also made some objectionable statements about women. These statements of the cricketers were considered sexist, racist and derogatory towards women.

Both had apologized in writing
This episode of Hardik and Rahul got into so much controversy at that time that BCCI had to drop both of them from a match of the ODI series played in Australia. After this Hardik and KL Rahul were issued show cause notices by the BCCI as to why they had made derogatory remarks towards women on the show. After this, both the players had apologized in writing. In this apology, he wrote, ‘We apologize to all those who have been hurt in any way by our statements on Koffee With Karan.’

What did Hardik Pandya say?
In this episode of Koffee With Karan, Hardik Pandya openly told how many women he has had sex with. He also told that he talks openly to his parents about all these relationships. Hardik had said that he never asks the names of women in the club, but sees how he comes near them. Following the controversy, the BCCI was asked to consider whether cricketers should be allowed to participate in talk shows that have nothing to do with cricket at all.
