Madaram became popular before the Mahajatra. The Medaram surroundings were gutted. With Sunday being a holiday and the Kovid cases on the rise, devotees flocked heavily with the intention of seeing what the conditions would be like during the fair. The arrival of devotees started from early morning. Starting one by one and reaching millions. After reaching Medaram, the devotees first offered their heads at the Jampanna Wagu, performed holy baths and went to see their mothers.
