Indians had liked this film very much, but now a new ruckus has started regarding it and the reason for this ruckus is Israel filmmaker of and IFFI Jury head Nadav Lapid. In fact, he has described the film ‘The Kashmir Files’, which exposes the genocide of Kashmiri Pandits, as an ugly and propaganda-based film. People are enraged about this statement of his and are fiercely opposing the statement of this filmmaker on social media.
Actor Anupam Kher has strongly condemned this statement of Nadav Lapid. Talking to news agency ANI, he said that we will give a befitting reply to the jury head and Israeli filmmaker Nadav Lapid. At the same time, #NadavLapid and #KashmiriFiles are trending fiercely on social media and people are giving different types of reactions. Some are asking, ‘How did a foreigner become the jury head!’, while some are questioningly asking, ‘Does Nadav know the reality?’. At the same time, some users are also sharing memes on it.

Nadav Lapid is considered one of Israel’s finest filmmakers. His first feature film ‘Policeman’ won the Special Jury Award at the Locarno International Film Festival in 2011.
