Along with Chiranjeevi, Godfather movie also starred Nayanthara, Satyadev, Tanya Ravichandran, Puri Jagannath, Sunil, Shafi and others. But the roles of Nayanthara and Tanya were very limited. Bollywood hero Salman Khan also played a role in this movie. That character was also seen on screen for a while. The box office figures say that the film which has generally pleased the fans.
Godfather movie is actually a remake of Malayalam movie ‘Lucifer’. So the audience who saw Lucifer before the release of Godfather knew what this story was about. In this context, the Godfather unit has said that changes have been made in the story. Changes have been made to connect with the Telugu audience. However, senior writer Paruchuri Gopalakrishna opined that it would have been better if director Mohan Raja had reconsidered the choice of artists who played supporting roles for Chiranjeevi.
Paruchuri Gopalakrishna recently talked about Godfather movie on his YouTube channel. In this sequence, he mentioned the small mistakes in the film. Overall, it seems that the Godfather unit made three mistakes in what he said.
* Would it have been better if Sunil played Shafi’s role? Or it would have been better if some other artist had done it instead of these two.
* Salman Khan is a plus for this movie. Damaged in another way. How do you mean? Salman Khan’s fight while Chiranjeevi was walking hurt the fans. Finally, the same pattern was continued in the climax. If Pawan Kalyan or Ram Charan were doing the same Salman character, fans would not have got that feeling.
* Dialogues are good. But.. they are not at the level of Chiranjeevi. For example.. “I am away from politics. But..politics has not gone away from me” this dialogue “I am away from politics. But if it is written that I have the power to rule it? It would have been nice. Paruchuri Gopalakrishna believes that if there were 10 composing dialogues in the film, the response from the fans would have been good.
