Meanwhile, the documentary ‘The Elephant Whisperers’ was made with the story of Boman and Belly, a husband and wife who took care of two orphaned baby elephants in the Madumalai Tiger Reserve. The documentary is directed by Karthiki Gonsalves and produced by Guneeth Monga. Both of them received the Oscar trophy at the 95th Academy Awards ceremony held on Monday.

However, this is not the first time that producer Guneeth Monga has won an Oscar award. In 2019 Monga’s documentary ‘Period: End of Sentence’ also won an Oscar in the Documentary Short Subject category. If not, many people don’t know about this.
